More aptly, my shoes and I have covered miles and miles in and around the New York boroughs. So many that I’ve worn right through the soles of my favorite flats, no more are they my trusty side-kicks. It’s a tough city for shoes, especially on my feet, because I believe pretty much anything is walkable from midtown and I can only see these sunny tulips properly while strolling down Park Avenue. It’s just a minor shoe-tastrophe, since these two comfy pairs are flying my way as I type. Both have an elastic trim that hugs feet without pinching or fear of blisters, perfect for my slightly-wider-than-average tootsies.
I’m still on the hunt for a metallic but not too shiny flat (like these), but for now these neutrals are just what my tired feet need.
